If people are looking at generating targeted website traffic to their website they should strongly think of joining Google Adwords. It's a Pay Per Click advertising service. By using adwords this will literally explode traffic to your site instantly.

Now there are tons of other ways at generating traffic for free like Trafficswarm, InstantBuzz and many others. But Adwords will deliver traffic within minutes of setting up an Adword campaign which will be targeted traffic as well.

The only thing I suggest for people using Adwords is be careful with your keyword bids. Advertise smart by using low cost keywords, which will in turn cost you less plus get more advertising for your money. The term niche marketing means different things to different people.

The problem with these are, 1. that they often don't get enough traffic and 2. they are so specific that even if you can drive traffic, there isn't much you can do to serve those people except show them ads. Again this can be profitable if you know how to do it but it seems like there just has to be an easier way...

The niche marketers that really make the most money are those that know how to find the perfect balance between competition and search volume. Not only that but they know how to analyze the nature of a niche market to determine how much potential it really has before they enter it.

By doing this they find markets that can make them big money very quickly, faster than most people think possible.

Then when they do find markets they know how to make sites that will capitalize on them as effectively and efficiently as soon as possible. The result? Big profits, easily, and quickly.

Forum Marketing is one of the most widely used forms of increasing website traffic. Forums are great places for people to find tons of useful information on Internet marketing and other great topics in the industry.

Forums increase website traffic by contributing and helping others with their business. People share their knowledge, tips and ideas on business. The reason why forum marketing is so commonly used for Internet marketing is people are able to leave their signature ad below every post they place on a thread. So people are able to help others, share ideas and at the same time get some traffic to your website through your signature links. The only thing about this is please contribute to the topic, just don't post a reply just to get your signature link there. Forums are meant to help people so lets all contribute and help one another.

Signature links are so effective as there are tons of people on forums looking for information. Make sure your signature link is written well so that people will want to click on it. 1. Keywords should be used in all links whether its a link within your own website or it's a link to another website.

2. Keywords should also be used in all page title tags and it should be the first word if possible this will help rank high in search engines as well. The keyword that you choose for your page title, that page itself should be optimized for that keyword that is within your page title. Web page optimization needs to be done for every page for that single keyword.

3. Keywords should also be used in your meta tags description tag. Meta tag optimization will increase website traffic. A good advice for your content tag description is to make sure you have your keyword is in the description tag at least once. Once is good but twice is even better, it will give your website more relevancy for searches when they crawl your website. Do not put keyword in your description tag more than twice as search engines can penalize you for keyword spamming.

4. All websites usually have a keyword meta tag within the website. Every search engine is different now a days. Some search engines still look at keyword tags for your website but others do not. People should always put this in, in case some search engines still crawl these as well.
